Season Over for Frank Bullock in Bishop Amat HS Thursday, April 20th , 2045 The doctors have spoken and Frank Bullock of the Bishop Amat HS Lancers didn't like what he heard. The 18-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Bullock sustained his season-ending injury during the Newport News HS Paints game yesterday at Paints Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Bishop Amat HS medical staff reported Bullock had bone chips in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 5-6 months. On his stats sheet this season Bullock shows a 1-1 record, 5 starts, 36 innings, 48 strikeouts and a 2.25 ERA. |
