Season May Be Over for Sailfish Crites Thursday, April 20th , 2051 The season is finished for Jason Crites of the Oxnard HS Sailfish. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Sailfish center fielder suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Vancouver HS Alpines. Team doctors said it would take at least 5 months to heal. Crites is batting .297 this season in 23 games with 1 home run, 5 RBIs and 8 runs scored. He has 19 hits in 64 at-bats. |
