Sears 5-for-5 Against North Las Vegas HS Monday, April 5th , 2055 Overland Park HS right fielder Roy Sears had a big day at Marauders Ballpark against the North Las Vegas HS Marauders. The 15-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led to the 12-9 Triplets triumph over North Las Vegas HS. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Sears said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Roy Sears singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, was hit by a pitch in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
