García 5-for-6 Against Triplets Friday, April 28th , 2051 5 times is the charm -- at least for Jeff García. The Des Moines HS Rockies center fielder tore up the Overland Park HS Triplets to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Triplets Ballpark today. The offensive onslaught from García powered the Rockies to a 13-9 win. "García was a tough out today," Overland Park HS manager Dan Rodríguez said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Jeff García hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit a three-run double in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 9th.
