Harris Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Saturday, April 29th , 2051 Al Harris continued his streak at Ballpark of Montgomery HS today, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Montgomery HS catcher was 1-for-4 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 20 games. The Spikes were not as fortunate, losing 7-5 to the Masconomet HS Chiefs. "Harris was hitting everything we threw at him," said Masconomet HS manager Hyo-sang Yu. "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame today and we came away with a win." Al Harris hit a two-run home run off Jorge Medina in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. Harris is presently batting .333 with 10 home runs, 24 runs scored and 25 RBIs. His OBP is .398. |
