3 Bombs for Chris Daniels Monday, May 1st , 2051 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Classics Ballpark buzzing, Masconomet HS Chiefs right fielder Chris Daniels blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 15-4 win over the Bishop Gorman HS Crusaders. "Everything was clicking," Daniels told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Daniels shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 7 at-bats, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Chiefs manager Hyo-sang Yu said. "Chris played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Chris Daniels grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Carl Snelgrove in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Tommy White in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Eric Roberson in the 8th and flied out in the 9th. Thus far in 2051 Daniels is hitting .291 with 12 home runs, 29 RBIs, 21 runs scored and has compiled a .355 OBP. |
