Smashing Success: Jaramillo Wallops 3 HR Tuesday, May 23rd , 2051 It was a good day for the Crandon Cardinals and an exceptional one for Albert Jaramillo. The 18-year-old center fielder sent three bombs out of the park to help the Cardinals beat the Roy Eagle Squadron 24-0 at Swamp Foxes Ballpark. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Jaramillo said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 5 times, drove in 4 runs and smacked 3 hits in 5 at-bats.
