Ramos Booms 3 out of the Park Friday, June 23rd , 2051 Whatever Germán Ramos ate for breakfast before his game against the Quincy Doughboys today, it gave him some impressive power. The San Juan first baseman smacked three balls up and out of the park at Ballpark of Sunrise Manor. His home run barrage led the Tigres to take the 16-11 victory over the Doughboys. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 5-for-6, scored 5 times, drove in 6 and put on a display that history will remember. Germán Ramos struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Tony Colón in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, hit a three-run home run off Bob Graham in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Ignacio Ciasca in the 9th. Presently Ramos is batting .285 and has collected 29 home runs, 67 RBIs, .412 OBP and scored 51 runs. |
