Tony Vázquez Hurt, Out for Year Thursday, July 17th, 2042 The season is ending on a bad note for Tony Vázquez, second baseman for the Palmyra Overlords. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Vázquez was hurt against the Watertown Headhunters while colliding with a player at a base. He suffered a ruptured finger tendon and will be out for at least 4 months. In 14 games this year Vázquez has posted a .290 average and put up these numbers: no home runs, 3 RBIs and 11 runs scored. |
