Alford's 26-Game Hit Streak Ends Saturday, June 20th , 2054 Darryl Alford's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 26 games, as the Scottsdale Jackies dropped their contest with the Kingston Knights, 19-12, at Flatulence Field. Alford failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-1. After the game Alford spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. This year, Alford has hit at a .401 clip with 49 RBIs, 15 home runs and 83 runs scored. |
