Bennett Is King of Swing: Goes Deep 3 Times Monday, July 3rd , 2051 Castle Rock Captains third baseman Artie Bennett had a magnificent game against the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes today, rocketing three balls out of Rancho Cucamonga Fields to help the Captains take the 12-5 victory. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Bennett went 3-for-4 with 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Castle Rock manager Ron McDonald said later. "Seems like Artie found his home run stroke today."
