Dutch Ovens Henry McIntyre Wins JCL Award Monday, August 5th, 2041 20-year-old Henry McIntyre made a few Grand Rapids headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Jeff Cole League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 26 at-bats to put up a .462 average. McIntyre collected 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 6 runs. Thus far this year McIntyre is hitting .308 with 29 home runs, 102 RBIs and 90 runs scored. |
