Hat Trick of Home Runs for Cook
Sunday, July 16th , 2051
Philip Cook was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 12-4 Kingston Knights triumph at Ballpark of Elkins today.

The 19-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Knights past the Germantown Red Devils.

"One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Cook told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate."

The third baseman went 3-for-4, rung up 6 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day.

Philip Cook flied out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Doug Corey in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Dale Schroeder in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Joe Brown in the 7th.

This season Cook is hitting at a .288 pace with 31 home runs, 82 RBIs and has scored 65 times.
