Ridin' High: Féliz Hits for Cycle Monday, July 17th , 2051 It was a special day for Vincente Féliz at Flatulence Field today. Not only did Féliz's Destin Beach Dogs beat the Columbia Mavericks 10-3, but the shortstop hit for the cycle along the way. The 23-year-old Féliz racked up 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to get his name in the record books. For the game, he went 4-for-4 with 6 RBI and 3 runs scored. "He hit everything we threw," said Mavericks manager Diego Flores. "There was just no getting him out today." Speaking to the press after the game, Féliz said his goal for the day had been to look for "first pitch fastballs." "I got some good looks today," he said. Vincente Féliz hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit a two-run triple in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and hit a three-run home run off Christian Hogan in the 6th.
