Quincy Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Monday, August 7th , 2051 It has been a woeful season for the Quincy Doughboys and now they have been officially eliminated from playoff contention. "You always need some things to break your way to get into the playoffs," said manager Cade Delaney. "And nothing broke our way this year." The Doughboys have made the playoffs 5 times in their 26 years as a BSA Rookie League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2042. In the last 10 seasons, the Doughboys have only made the playoffs once. |
