Star of the Week Selected in MBL Monday, August 14th , 2051 The votes have been cast and counted and the winner of the Mike Bryant League Player of the Week has been chosen. It was presented earlier today to Paco Quintanilla for his red-hot week of hitting. The Santa Anna second baseman took home the trophy by splurging with 14 hits in 29 at-bats for a .483 batting average, driving in 10 runs and scoring 10 times. This year Quintanilla has hit at a .323 clip with 40 hits, 9 home runs, 27 RBIs and 23 runs scored. |
