Moorhouse Slaps 5 Hits Tuesday, August 22nd , 2051 Clarence Moorhouse put on a hitting clinic today at Shaolin Grounds, spraying hits all over the ballpark and lashing Wrexham pitchers for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. However, the offensive onslaught wasn't enough for the El Paso Diablos, who still fell, 14-4. "Sometimes I try to pull the ball too much, so today I just went with the pitch," Moorhouse told reporters after the game. "It's great to get 5 hits, but it would have been nicer to win the ballgame. too." Clarence Moorhouse singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Barney McKinney in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
