JCL Awards Best Batter Prize to Stewart Monday, August 4th , 2053 Steve Stewart of the Columbia Mavericks had an award-winning week and today was voted the Player of the Week by the Jeff Cole League. For the week the 20-year-old first baseman batted .500 (11-for-22) with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs. Stewart is hitting .411 for the season with 6 home runs, 19 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has 23 hits in 56 at-bats and played in 19 games. |
