Godfrey Hits for Cycle Against Fort Collins Monday, August 28th , 2051 Townies third baseman Dave Godfrey made big news today in Charleston's 22-4 victory over the Fort Collins Commoners. He was 5-for-6 at the plate and hit for the cycle, collecting 1 single, 2 doubles, 1 triple and 1 home run. "My numbers were gaudy but lots of guys deserve a share of the credit today," Godfrey said later. Dave Godfrey singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a two-run triple in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Michael Spence in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.
