Joseph Davidson Wallops 3 Homers for War Dogs
Monday, August 4th , 2053
Atlantic City second baseman Joseph Davidson led the War Dogs to a triumph, 19-7, over the Pueblo Prairie Dogs, crushing three home runs.
"He's scary good when he's swinging the bat like that," said Atlantic City skipper James Edwards.
Indeed, Davidson put up some "scary good" numbers: three homers, 3 hits in 6 at-bats with 3 runs and 4 RBIs.
"I'm just thinkin' about winning ballgames," Davidson said. "When you think about home runs, you very seldom get 'em."
Joseph Davidson hit a solo-shot off Ray Phillips in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Hsi-men Guo in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Marcus Schmitt in the 9th.
This year, Davidson is batting .333 with 12 hits, 5 home runs, 9 RBIs, 5 walks, .429 OBP and has scored 12 runs.
