Bulls Curt Crockett Down and Out for Year Tuesday, August 29th , 2051 When Curt Crockett was hurt against the Atlantic City War Dogs, the Birmingham Bulls were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 22-year-old reliever suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Crockett would miss 11 months of the season. This season Crockett has picked up 22 saves and posted a 3-2 record with a 2.89 ERA. He has 45 relief appearances, tossed 46.2 innings and struck out 45. |
