Davidson Joins 3-HR Club
Friday, July 24th , 2054
Whatever Joseph Davidson ate for breakfast before his game against the Gilbert Fire Fighters, it gave him some impressive power.
The Atlantic City second baseman smacked three balls up and out of the park at Fire Fighters Stadium. His home run barrage helped the War Dogs defeat the Fire Fighters, 23-6.
"When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all."
On his 3-homer day, he went 3-for-7, scored 3 times, drove in 10 and put on a display that history will remember.
Joseph Davidson flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Santiago Colón in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Doug Roddy in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Willie Dyer in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th.
At the moment, Davidson is batting .285 with 13 home runs and 50 RBIs. He has played in 74 games and scored 49 times.
