Big Day for Mitchell: Swats 5 Hits Saturday, August 15th , 2054 The 5th time is the charm -- at least for Nick Mitchell. The first baseman for the Pueblo Prairie Dogs hit the milestone against the Santa Anna Dukes, helping his club to a narrow 14-13 victory. Mitchell finished with a 5-for-6 line at the plate. "Mitchell was a tough out," Santa Anna manager Manuel Espinoza told the press in the postgame interview. "If it weren't for him, I think we had this one." Nick Mitchell hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
