Tuesday, August 18th , 2054
Dan Black has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 20-year-old Germantown Red Devils center fielder extended his streak to 20 games, going 3-for-5 as Germantown got the best of the Washington DC Hot Sauce at Ballpark of Elkins, 6-2.
"Dan has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Red Devils manager Hong-ryul Yun said. Dan Black singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off John Glenn in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Miguel Bernard in the 7th and flied out in the 8th.
This season, Black has hit 24 home runs and posted a .420 batting average.
