Marcos Ramos Out for Season Friday, August 28th , 2054 Castle Rock reliever Marcos Ramos could miss the remainder of the season because of shoulder inflammation. He exited yesterday's Fort Collins game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Ramos would be out 4-5 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." Ramos has taken the hill for 13 relief appearances this season, nailing down 1 save while notching a 1-7 record with a 13.17 ERA. The Castle Rock reliever has limited opposing batters to a .358 batting average. |
