Hartford's Mireles to Miss Season Saturday, August 29th , 2054 A blow for José Mireles today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 13-14 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Mireles suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Hartford Darth Whalers are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Mireles's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature.
