Pakpahan Has 20-Game Hitting Streak Sunday, August 30th , 2054 The number just keeps getting higher. Alabama first baseman Karno Pakpahan has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 1 hit in 3 at-bats as the Alabama won the game, 10-6, over the Crandon Cardinals at Marshall Space Flight Field. "Who knows how long it will go on?" Crandon manager Ron Walters said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Karno Pakpahan singled in the 1st, hit a sac fly in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, walked in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. This year, Pakpahan is batting .359 with 30 home runs and 66 RBIs. |
