Mitchell Picks Up Best MBL Batter Honors for August Tuesday, September 1st , 2054 At only 21 years of age, Nick Mitchell could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Pueblo Prairie Dogs, as August was one to remember for the first baseman and he has captured the Mike Bryant League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .465 with 9 home runs, 36 RBIs and 31 runs scored. For the year, Mitchell is hitting .431 with 14 home runs. His stats include 57 runs batted in and 50 runs scored. |
