Shedd Earns JCL Top Pitcher Trophy Tuesday, September 1st , 2054 The #1 pitcher this past month in the Jeff Cole League was Jerry Shedd of the Washington DC Hot Sauce. He worked the hitters over real good, finishing August with a superb 4-0 record and a 0.97 ERA. The Hot Sauce star made 6 starts and surrendered 26 hits in 37 innings. He struck out 40 and walked 8.
