Blast Off! 3 HR for Martin Thursday, August 14th , 2053 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Trump Arena buzzing, Atlantic City War Dogs first baseman Christian Martin blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 22-7, over the Watertown Headhunters. "Everything was clicking," Martin told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Martin shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 6 at-bats, 9 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," War Dogs manager James Edwards said. "Christian played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Christian Martin struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Josh Sorensen in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Ryan Blair in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Unknown in the 8th.
