Friday, August 27th , 2055
In a powerful performance that left the fans at Ballpark of Elkins buzzing, Germantown Red Devils right fielder Devin Glanville blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 8-7, over the Alabama Shakes.
"Everything was clicking," Glanville told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Glanville shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Red Devils manager Hong-ryul Yun said. "Devin played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
Devin Glanville hit a two-run home run off Bruce Chase in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Bruce Chase in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Harry Farmer in the 6th and struck out in the 8th.
In 58 games this season, Glanville has compiled a .208 batting average with 38 hits and 21 home runs. He has also scored 30 times and knocked in 39 runs.
