Reed Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Thursday, June 21st , 2046 The hot bat of Killa Beez right fielder Hollis Reed continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 20 games after he went 2-for-5 in today's 15-8 loss to the Hot Sauce at Marshall Field at Carter Stadium. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Hollis Reed grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. Thus far this season Reed has hit .342 with 6 home runs, 31 RBIs and scored 28 times. |
