Macho Men Not Competitive in 7-0 Loss to Brunswick Monday, July 25th , 2044 20-year-old Brunswick Squares pitcher Joe Newton had a strong outing against the San Francisco Macho Men at Fremont Grounds today, keeping them off the scoreboard the whole game. He struck out 8 in the 7-0 win and walked 3 while surrendering 5 hits. "Hopefully there will be plenty more of these in the future for us," he said. Newton has taken the mound for 7 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 3-1 record with a 6.40 ERA.
