Rodríguez rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Squares hurlers were throwing. "I think the Townies were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Brunswick fan after the game. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Rodríguez in the postgame press interview. Carlos Rodríguez hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th and doubled in the 8th. In the 2051 season Rodríguez is hitting .368 with 2 home runs.
